LEGEND:
- Reference: The top Q60 reference chart
is based on Kodak data for the chart shown, and is what a
perfect rendition of the chart should look like on an
sRGB system/monitor. While sRGB will not be 100% correct
on all monitors, it should be accurate enough for visual
inspection through most web browsers.
- Original: The original Q60 target is how
the camera captured the image. This image has only been
resized and no other corrections made. Compare this image
with the reference above to judge how close the camera's
original capture came to reproducing accurate color.
Consider this image the "before" image.
- Profiled to sRGB: The profiled image has
been profiled into the sRGB color space by using the
camera profile. Compare this image with the reference
above to judge how close the profile comes to reproducing
accurate color. Consider this image the "after"
image.
NOTES REGARDING THIS ICC PROFILE:
- This profile was designed for use with JPEG/TIFF images
with the camera set to factory defaults.
- This profile will not work with raw images (if
the camera provides a raw capture mode).
- The profile was designed to describe the overall color
response of the camera such that the profile can be used
with images under any lighting conditions.
- Since this profile describes overall color response, it
is not indended to reduce color error to zero under all
conditions; however, it will provide much more accurate
color than using any generic color space (such as sRGB,
Color Match, NTSC, etc) or using no color space at all.
- Since the profile is designed for use on all images under
any lighting conditions, it cannot correct for
underexposure, overexposure, or poor white balance.
- This is a standard ICC profile. This profile may be used
in Qimage or any ICC aware application or platform.
