Re-registration of Qimage Lite, Pro, and Studio

Before ordering an updated registration for Qimage Lite, Pro, or Studio, please be aware of the following important information:

  1. Consider Qimage Ultimate: Qimage Lite, Pro, and Studio are now retired and are supported in maintenance or "extended usability" mode where we supply operating system and other compatibility updates only (no new features) so that you can continue to enjoy the same quality and features you have become dependent upon over the years.  Should you want to move ahead and take advantage of the new work we are doing, we have a brand new product called Qimage Ultimate that represents a bold new approach to the Qimage concept that offers features, quality, and support that we could not offer in the now 13 year old Qimage Lite, Pro, and Studio.  You can have a look at our FAQ should you have questions about the retired Lite, Pro, and Studio editions versus the new Qimage Ultimate project.  Want hassle-free, unlock-free updates where you get instant updates to your email address?  There are no unlock codes for the new Qimage Ultimate: we use a more efficient hassle-free update system that only requires your current email address!
  2. Why do I have to re-register Lite, Pro, or Studio: Simply put, you may not need to.  If you received a registration email from us in since December 2007, you already have the latest registration info and it still works!  An easy way to tell: if your unlock code ends in a group of 5 characters (example: ABC12) or you are currently running registered version v2008.200 or later, you've already been sent the latest information once or more.  If you do need us to send your registration info, it is for one of the following two reasons:
  3. Lost registration info: As stated above, if you've updated Qimage Lite, Pro, or Studio any time since December 2007, we've already sent your registration info at least once.  If you are currently running registered version v2008.200 or later, we know that you already received the latest registration info and in that email you were advised to be responsible for your registration information in return for our free support.  You were also advised that there would be a small re-registration fee should you lose the information and you need us to resend it.
  4. Extremely outdated registrations from inactive users: We went to great lengths to update all existing users to the latest/current registration info.  For three years prior to retiring Lite, Pro, and Studio, we ran a free registration update server where you could obtain the latest registration info for free.  If you took a 3+ year hiatus in updating Qimage, you didn't take advantage of this service and now you are asking us to reactivate your registration on a retired product.  The fee below covers the cost of reactivating inactive customers who have not updated in more than three years (prior to Lite, Pro, and Studio being retired).

Please save your registration info: As we've urged in every registration email that has been sent since December 2007, your registration information is your responsibility.  With the free maintenance updates and support associated with Qimage Lite, Pro, and Studio, we simply cannot afford to be a data backup service for our customers as well as continuing to support you on a retired product.  Being responsible for your own registration information is a small price to pay for the free updates and support.
