In refine note the level of fill after applying the yellow box, and the HDR to darken the bright areas a little. Also note the curve with a little kink to give a bit more detail in the bright area of the ship, plus the other little tweaks.

I get it now.
In the shot that Terry and had to play with, the red ship was stuck aground.
