Profile Prism Ordering Instructions

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BUY

• The current version of Profile Prism supports RGB profiles only. If your printer uses the standard Windows "File", "Print" dialog that is available in most Windows applications, the driver is operating in RGB color mode (even though the printer uses CMYK inks) and therefore needs an RGB profile, so Profile Prism is appropriate for this application. If however, your printer requires that you print through special software (plugin, etc.) that requires sending CMYK separations to the printer, Profile Prism will not be compatible with your printer. In addition, since Profile Prism does not create gray scale profiles, it cannot generate profiles for black and white printers (or printers that have had their color cartridges replaced with gray inks). It is therefore necessary that your printer be able to produce color prints to be able to utilize Profile Prism to generate printer profiles. Please be aware of this before you buy.

• The purpose of Profile Prism is to create ICC profiles for digital cameras, flatbed scanners, and printers. Since use of the profiles generated by Profile Prism is dependent upon imaging software that supports ICC profiling, we recommend that you do not purchase Profile Prism until you are familiar with ICC profiling and you have confirmed that your digital imaging software is capable of utilizing ICC profiles. • Profile Prism consists of a color target and CD ROM containing PC software. We do not currently offer a Mac version, nor do we offer media other than CD ROM, however, you can always download the latest version via the FTP site in the event of lost media or for the purpose of upgrading your software.

• We ship all orders to U.S. addresses (including Alaska/Hawaii) via USPS first class mail.  Average delivery time is 5-7 days to U.S. destinations and 10-14 days to addresses outside the U.S.. Please note that for non-U.S. orders, we cannot be responsible for delays due to customs. We do not currently offer any other means of shipping this product (UPS, FedEx, etc).

• The price below includes shipping and is the same for U.S. and foreign orders.
